What I enjoy most about my job
Just being able to take care of the client’s pets when they’re away. I like to make them feel safe and happy when they can’t go with their parents.
Funniest pet experience
I was pet sitting this cat one time and his owner was gone for over two weeks and he was getting pretty lonely. So one evening he was sitting on the counter and I was telling him goodbye for the night and when I turned around to leave he jumped onto my back and held on so I wouldn’t leave. He was just hanging on to my shirt. Needless to say, I stayed and hung out with him for a while longer.

A Message from Sheri’s Clients…
My husband and I both want to thank Sheri for the wonderful care she gave our little quadrupeds. We have quite a demanding little zoo here (3 cats and 3 dogs) and they are obviously immeasurably important to us. When we returned home tonight we expected to find stressed-out babies and a mess in the house (which is what we usually find when we come home from out-of-town). Instead, there were no accidents (Sheri has cleaned them up) and the animals seemed happy and relaxed. She took the time to play with them as I saw new tennis balls outside and even placed additional food and water upstairs for our shy kitty who was not comfortable going downstairs. We even have a sweet interloping stray cat who we have adopted (Beetlejuice) and she took the time to care for him as well. We could not be happier and we want to use Sheri for all of our future pet-sitting needs. Please give her our deepest thanks.
