My Pets
Currently I no longer have pets because I live in an apartment. I had a hampster named Algernon but he died recently. My favorite cat growing up was named Meow, and she was evil. She would be nice and purr and want to nuzzle your face then without warning bite your nose. She was my favorite cat, I got her when I was 8 yrs old and she died when I was about 22.
What I like most about pet sitting
What I enjoy most about pet sitting is getting to spend time with animals and working partially outdoors. Since I cannot have big animals at home I really like to be able to see and spend time with cats and dogs and everything else. Also, I used to work in an office so I felt so deprived when I would go out for lunch and see how nice it was but I could only enjoy it for a little before I had to go back inside. I used to think I wish I could be at a park, now it’s part of my job.
Funniest pet experience
The funniest expeirience I’ve ever had with a pet was with my old dog Betty. She was very loyal, protective and kind and she never bit anyone. But one night we heard a lot of barking and shouting coming from our back yard so my dad went out there to see what was going on. There were some policemen outside and our friendly dog had someone the police were chasing cornered in our back yard!
What do you think our pet friends can teach us?
I think animals have a lot to teach people about love, kindness and responsibility. They allow us to think about something else before ourselves.
