Bella and Brutus are black standard poodle puppies. They are littermates and were born September 26, 2007. They are beautiful inside and out! Bella is definitely the Alpha dog. Bella and Brutus are both extremely intelligent and very energetic. We enjoy morning and evening walks. While they both love obedience training, and the treats that accompany it, Brutus is especially eager to please. They are adorable to watch at rest and at play, the latter of which is most common. Brutus is a bit reserved for a poodle, but Bella is very agile and athletic.
What I enjoy most about pet sitting
Trying to make the pets feel more comfortable about being at home while the rest of their family is away.
Funniest pet experience
My cat used to go into the woods behind our house every morning, if it wasn’t raining outside. He would sun bathe on the same rock everyday. He would stay there until I called out for him at night. As I called out for him, he would start meowing very loudly. I would continue to call out for him, and he would continue to meow until he reached me. Then he would simply follow me in the house. It was so predictable, but at the same time, it was so incredibly funny!
What do you think our pet friends can teach us?
What can’t they teach us? Unconditional love, patience, discipline, responsibility, loyalty, acceptance, gracefulness, elation…and the list goes on!
