My Pets
Scooter (My Fat Miniature Dachshund)- We call him ScooPoo. He is 8 years young and he is very protective. He is my 2nd dachshund that I ever had in my life. My first dachshund, Almond passed away when she was 5 y.o, 3 years ago. Mocha (My Miracle Dachshund)- Mocha had IVDD back in March 07 and paralyzed from his waist down to his rear legs. (It’s very common in dachshunds.) He had a back surgery and he was hospitalized for 5 days. After 8 weeks long recovery, he is as good as a new born pup!! Zoey (Great Dane X)- ZoZo she is about 5 months old now but she is HUGE! I love her as much as I love my boys!
What I enjoy most about my job
I love being around animals. They always make me smile! Their unique personalities and goofy attitutudes brighten my days!
Funniest pet experience
I have too many funny moments with my boys, but if I have to pick one it is probably the day Mocha jumped into a swimming pool. It was the first time Mocha saw me swimming and he panicked! He thought I was drowning, so he jumped into the pool and he had that surprised look on his face because he HATES water! With Scooter it’s probably when he hid inside my pillowcase and couldn’t get out. I know, I know…my dogs are trouble-makers! Gotta Love ‘em!
What do you think our pet friends can teach us?
Their Big heart and unconditional love inspire me to be a bigger person and they make me learn to appreciate my friends and family and shower them with unlimited loves!
